How Often Should You Wax Your Car?

The direct answer

Renew wax when its maker says to and when the clean car no longer acts or feels as it did after application. There is no one schedule for every wax, car, climate, or parking space.

Beading alone does not prove that wax is gone. Wash first, then check cleaning, drying, water behavior, and slickness together.

What changes the schedule?

Sun, heat, road salt, strong cleaners, many washes, outdoor parking, and poor prep can shorten product life. A garage, mild soap, and less driving may help it last longer.
